How to Participate:

  1. Enter 4×4 Goose Hunt drawing by applying online here. Non-refundable $50 application fee per team. All entries due by midnight January 1, 2026. ONLY online entries will be accepted.
  2. 4×4 Goose Hunt committee will randomly draw and announce winning team participants around January 5, 2026. Number of teams will be finalized once blind donations are complete before 12/30/25.
  3. $800 per team Entry Fee due by January 9, 2026 via check or credit card payment. Lack of payment by January 9 will void successful drawing, and a new team will be selected for replacement.
  4. Two automatic team entries with first selection of blind location will be auctioned, with the first online beginning December 1 and ending December 31, 2025. Click here to bid on the online auction. The 2nd online auction will open after the other teams are randomly drawn from open applications. The 2nd auction will begin January 6, 2026 and close at midnight January 10th, 2026.
  5. One team dedicated to our Veterans – entry fee and blind donated by 4×4 Goose Hunt. Veteran team selection in proud partnership with the Heroes Hunting Foundation.

4×4 Goose Hunt Format

  • 4 man teams plus guide. Guides provided by 4×4 Goose Hunt.
  • 4 shells per hunter (4×4) or 16 shells per team – supplied by 4×4 Goose Hunt.
    • 12 gauge, 3 inch shells will be used.
  • 12 harvested geese team limit
    • Any birds harvested over the 12 bird limit will result in disqualification.
  • Scoring:
    • Total # of geese harvested
    • Total # of shells used
    • Total # of empty shells returned
    • Total weight of top 5 geese harvested
      • Additional geese will be weighed if deemed necessary for tie-breakers.
  • Prizes:
    • Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams. More details coming soon.
  • Team auction (calcutta format) on Friday evening, with 50% proceeds paying out the top 3 teams. Other 50% auction proceeds donated to the Grand Passage Sportsmen.
